§ 10.20.030. School zones.

  • [The school zone speed limit is] twenty miles per hour during the hours of seven a.m. through four p.m. Monday through Friday while school is in session and/or when children are present as designated by school zone speed limit signs.

    The posted signs and traffic control devices governing a school zone shall specifically include, but not be limited to, movable stop signs, and any such sign when placed in the traveled portion of the street or any other clearly visible area, shall be obeyed by all traffic in the same manner as any permanently established stop sign.
