§ 10.36.070. Notice of snow emergency.

  • The administrator shall cause each declaration of a snow emergency made by him under this chapter to be publicly announced by placing a sign in the intersection of Fourth Street and Maurer Street and in the intersection of Fourth Street and Cedar Street. Such signs shall state the time when the snow emergency shall go into effect. In any event, a snow emergency declared by the city administrator shall not go into effect less than ten hours after the signs have been posted as provided in this section and signs shall be posted by twelve noon. The administrator shall keep a record of the time and date when each snow emergency is first announced to the public.
