§ 15.28.010. Schedule of rates.

The rates for the use of and for service rendered by the Wilton Sewage Treatment Plant shall be paid by the owner of each and every lot or parcel of real estate or building that is connected with and uses the sewage treatment plant, as follows:

(a)

For the period of August 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017 (fiscal year 2017).

(1)

All customers will be charged a customer charge of nineteen dollars and seventy-one cents per month which includes the first two thousand gallons per month. This is also the minimum bill per month;

(2)

Twenty-one dollars and twenty-two cents user fee for the use of two thousand one to nine thousand gallons per month plus six dollars and seventy-eight cents per one thousand gallons used in excess of two thousand gallons.

(3)

Twenty-two dollars and sixty-five cents user fee for the use of over nine thousand gallons per month plus six dollars and seventy-eight cents per one thousand gallons used in excess of two thousand gallons.

(4)

Pretreatment Contributors. (Each contributor who operates a pretreatment plant may connect to the city sewer system subject to the approval of the city engineer and city council.) Thirty-two dollars and seventy-three cents user fee plus five dollars and fifty-one cents per one thousand gallons used in excess of two thousand gallons.

(b)

For the period of July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018 (fiscal year 2018).

(1)

All customers will be charged a customer charge of twenty-one dollars and nine cents per month which includes the first two thousand gallons per month. This is also the minimum bill per month;

(2)

Twenty-two dollars and seventy cents user fee for the use of two thousand one to nine thousand gallons per month plus eight dollars and twenty-eight cents per one thousand gallons used in excess of two thousand gallons.

(3)

Twenty-four dollars and twenty-four cents user fee for the use of over nine thousand gallons per month plus eight dollars and twenty-eight cents per one thousand gallons used in excess of two thousand gallons.

(4)

Pretreatment Contributors. (Each contributor who operates a pretreatment plant may connect to the city sewer system subject to the approval of the city engineer and city council.) Thirty-five dollars and two cents user fee plus six dollars and seventy-three cents per one thousand gallons used in excess of two thousand gallons.

(c)

For the period of July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019 (fiscal year 2019).

(1)

All customers will be charged a customer charge of twenty-two dollars and fifty-seven cents per month which includes the first two thousand gallons per month. This is also the minimum bill per month;

(2)

Twenty-four dollars and twenty-nine cents user fee for the use of two thousand one to nine thousand gallons per month plus ten dollars and ten cents per one thousand gallons used in excess of two thousand gallons.

Twenty-five dollars and ninety-three cents user fee for the use of over nine thousand gallons per month plus ten dollars and ten cents per one thousand gallons used in excess of two thousand gallons.

(4)

Pretreatment Contributors. (Each contributor who operates a pretreatment plant may connect to the city sewer system subject to the approval of the city engineer and city council.) Thirty-seven dollars and forty-seven cents user fee plus eight dollars and twenty-one cents per one thousand gallons used in excess of two thousand gallons.

(d)

For the period of July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020 (fiscal year 2020).

(1)

All customers will be charged a customer charge of twenty-four dollars and fourteen cents per month which includes the first two thousand gallons per month. This is also the minimum bill per month;

(2)

Twenty-five dollars and ninety-nine cents user fee for the use of two thousand one to nine thousand gallons per month plus twelve dollars and thirty-two cents per one thousand gallons used in excess of two thousand gallons.

(3)

Twenty-seven dollars and seventy-five cents user fee for the use of over nine thousand gallons per month plus twelve dollars and thirty-two cents per one thousand gallons used in excess of two thousand gallons.

(4)

Pretreatment Contributors. (Each contributor who operates a pretreatment plant may connect to the city sewer system subject to the approval of the city engineer and city council.) Forty dollars and ten cents user fee plus ten dollars and one cent per one thousand gallons used in excess of two thousand gallons.

(e)

For the period of July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021 (fiscal year 2021).

(1)

All customers will be charged a customer charge of twenty-five dollars and eighty-four cents per month which includes the first two thousand gallons per month. This is also the minimum bill per month;

(2)

Twenty-seven dollars and eighty-one cents user fee for the use of two thousand one to nine thousand gallons per month plus fifteen dollars and three cents per one thousand gallons used in excess of two thousand gallons.

(3)

Twenty-nine dollars and sixty-nine cents user fee for the use of over nine thousand gallons per month plus fifteen dollars and three cents per one thousand gallons used in excess of two thousand gallons.

(4)

Pretreatment Contributors. (Each contributor who operates a pretreatment plant may connect to the city sewer system subject to the approval of the city engineer and city council.) Forty-two dollars and ninety cents user fee plus twelve dollars and twenty-two cents per one thousand gallons used in excess of two thousand gallons.

(f)

For fiscal year 2022 and each following fiscal year after, the customer charge and the usage charge shall be increased by three percent unless other rates are ratified by the city council.

Pretreatment contributors. (Each contributor who operates a pretreatment plant may connect to the city sewer system subject to the approval of the city engineer and city council.) Twenty-three dollars and sixty-four cents user fee plus three dollars and fifty cents per one thousand gallons used in excess of two thousand gallons.
