§ 19.16.020. Principal uses permitted.

Property and buildings in an A-1 district shall be used only for the following purposes:

(1)

Agricultural crops, but not the keeping of farm animals, horticultural, dairy farming, livestock farming, poultry farming, general farming, truck gardening, and other agricultural activities;

(2)

Single-family dwellings;

(3)

Manufactured housing;

(4)

Churches and temples;

(5)

Family homes;

(6)

Public schools, elementary, junior high, and high schools;

(7)

Parochial or private schools having similar curricula as public schools and having no rooms used regularly for housing or sleeping purposes;

(8)

Public buildings, public or semipublic parks, playgrounds or community buildings;

(9)

Golf courses and country clubs, except miniature courses or driving ranges operated for a profit;

(10)

Accessory uses and buildings which are customarily incidental to any of the above stated uses, but not involving the conduct of business;

(11)

A home business as defined in Section 19.08.280 of this title.
