§ 19.20.030. Use exceptions.

  • The following use exceptions are deemed appropriate on review by the board of adjustment in accordance with the provisions contained in this title:

    (1)

    Hospitals, sanitariums, nursing homes and convalescent homes on sites of one acre or more, with the same off-street parking and yards as those required for other institutional uses under this title;

    (2)

    Public utilities;

    (3)

    Swimming pools, golf courses and country clubs, except minature courses or driving ranges operated for a profit;

    (4)

    Two-family dwellings;

    (5)

    The taking of boarders or the leasing of rooms by a resident family, providing total number does not exceed two per building;

    (6)

    Home occupations;

    (7)

    A bed and breakfast inn, provided off-street parking is available for a total of five spaces.
