§ 19.36.020. Principal uses permitted.

Property and buildings in a C-2 central commercial district shall be used only for the following purposes:

Apartments above a store or shop;

(2)

Automotive service and repair;

(3)

Auto parts stores;

(4)

Bakery and catering service;

(5)

Barber and beauty shops;

(6)

Banks and other financial institutions;

(7)

Business, professional offices, studios;

(8)

Business and vocational schools;

(9)

Churches and temples;

(10)

Clothing stores;

(11)

Commercial amusements;

(12)

Commercial parking lots and garages;

(13)

Florist and gift shops;

(14)

Frozen food lockers;

(15)

Grocery stores;

(16)

Hardware stores;

(17)

Jewelry stores;

(18)

Laundries and dry-cleaning establishments;

(19)

Lumber yards;

(20)

Medical and dental clinics;

(21)

Multifamily dwellings;

(22)

Office supplies shops;

(23)

Personal service and repair shops;

(24)

Pharmacy;

(25)

Printing, publishing, and engraving;

(26)

Private clubs and lodges;

(27)

Public buildings, playgrounds, community buildings public parks;

(28)

Public utilities;

(29)

Restaurants and taverns;

(30)

TV and appliance repair and sales;

Variety stores;

Video equipment rental;

Accessory uses and buildings which are customarily incidental to the above stated uses and including temporary buildings used in conjunction with construction work, provided such buildings are removed promptly upon completion of the construction work.
