§ 7.12.100. Rates for collection.

(a)

The rate of fees for collection of rubbish, garbage, and mixed refuse (hereinafter "waste") shall be set as follows:

City garbage collection rates shall be established by separate resolution.

(b)

Senior Discounts. A discount of one dollar per month shall be given to all dwellings where the customer, as the occupant, is a qualifying senior citizen sixty-five years of age and older.

(c)

Federal and or State Subsidized Living Assistance Discounts. A discount of three dollars per month shall be given to all dwellings where the customer, as the occupant, is a qualifying recipient of federal and or state subsidized living assistance and is sixty-five years of age or older.

(d)

Discount Limits. Discount customers shall be limited to three thirty-gallon containers per week.

(e)

For each appliance picked up by the city, a fee of fifteen dollars per item will be charged.

The rate of fees for collection of rubbish, garbage, and mixed refuse (hereinafter "waste") shall be as follows for the period of July 1, 2011, through June 30, 2012:

For household waste, the sum of twelve dollars and fifty cents per month;

For commercial waste, the sum of twelve dollars and fifty cents per month, but for commercial waste gathered in dumpsters:

The sum of nineteen dollars and fifty cents for a two-cubic-yard dumpster per pickup;

The sum of twenty-four dollars and fifty cents for a four-cubic-yard dumpster per pickup;

The sum of thirty-four dollars and fifty cents for a six-cubic-yard dumpster per pickup;

The sum of forty-four dollars and fifty cents for an eight-cubic-yard dumpster per pickup.

The rate of fees for collection of rubbish, garbage, and mixed refuse (hereinafter "waste") shall be as follows for the period of July 1, 2012, through June 30, 2013:

For household waste, the sum of thirteen dollars per month;

For commercial waste, the sum of thirteen dollars per month, but for commercial waste gathered in dumpsters:

The sum of twenty dollars for a two-cubic-yard dumpster per pickup;

The sum of twenty-five dollars for a four-cubic-yard dumpster per pickup;

The sum of thirty-five dollars for a six-cubic-yard dumpster per pickup;

The sum of forty-five dollars for an eight-cubic-yard dumpster per pickup.

The rate of fees for collection of rubbish, garbage, and mixed refuse (hereinafter "waste") shall be as follows for the period of July 1, 2013, through June 30, 2014:

For household waste, the sum of thirteen dollars and fifty cents per month;

For commercial waste, the sum of thirteen dollars and fifty cents per month, but for commercial waste gathered in dumpsters:

The sum of twenty dollars and fifty cents for a two-cubic-yard dumpster per pickup;

The sum of twenty-five dollars and fifty cents for a four-cubic-yard dumpster per pickup;

The sum of thirty-five dollars and fifty cents for a six-cubic-yard dumpster per pickup;

The sum of forty-five dollars and fifty cents for an eight-cubic-yard dumpster per pickup.

The rate of fees for collection of rubbish, garbage, and mixed refuse (hereinafter "waste") shall be as follows for the period of July 1, 2014, through June 30, 2015:

For household waste, the sum of fourteen dollars per month;

For commercial waste, the sum of fourteen dollars per month, but for commercial waste gathered in dumpsters:

The sum of twenty-one dollars for a two-cubic-yard dumpster per pickup;

The sum of twenty-six dollars for a four-cubic-yard dumpster per pickup;

The sum of thirty-six dollars for a six-cubic-yard dumpster per pickup;

The sum of forty-six dollars for an eight-cubic-yard dumpster per pickup.
