§ 9.16.090. Gaming and betting.

Except as otherwise provided in Chapter 99B of the Code of Iowa, a person who participates in any game for any sum of money or other property of any value, or who makes any bet or wager for money or other property of value, or who engages in bookmaking violates this chapter.
