§ 10.16.030. Truck restrictions.

  • (a)

    No persons shall park any truck in any of the following places:

    (1)

    Upon any street in any area designated as R-1 single-family residential and R-2 mixed residential by the zoning ordinance for longer than one hour;

    (2)

    Upon Maurer Street from Fifth Street south to North Railroad Street;

    (3)

    Upon Cedar Street from Fifth Street south to North Railroad Street;

    (4)

    Upon Fourth Street from Chestnut Street west to Elm Street;

    (5)

    Upon North Railroad Street from Maurer Street west to a point which is one hundred twenty feet west of the west line of Cedar Street;

    (6)

    Upon the south side of West Third Street from the west corporate line east to Highway 38;

    (7)

    Truck parking on the north side of Third Street from the west corporate line east to Highway 38 shall be limited to a maximum time period of two hours.

    (b)

    A "truck" is any vehicle used for hauling goods or commodities which is seven feet or more in width or nineteen feet or more in length and includes mobile homes, campers and travel trailers.
