    The rate for electric energy sold by the city for large general service shall be the total of a monthly demand charge and a monthly energy charge determined as follows:

    (1)

    The demand charge at either primary or secondary voltage shall be $2.65 per KW per month and shall be based upon the highest fifteen-minute demand during the month, but not less than the highest fifteen-minute demand occurring during the preceding eleven months.

    (2)

    The energy charge at secondary voltage shall be as follows:

    (A)

    For the first 10000 KWH per month, 4.08¢ per KWH;

    (B)

    For the next 15000 KWH per month, 3.55¢ per KWH;

    (C)

    For the next 25000 KWH per month, 3.29¢ per KWH;

    (D)

    For the next 50000 KWH per month, 2.88¢ per KWH;

    (E)

    For the next 50000 KWH per month, 2.76¢ per KWH;

    (F)

    For all over 150000 KWH per month, 2.62¢ per KWH;

    (b)

    The minimum total monthly charge shall be based upon the highest fifteen-minute demand during the month, but not less than the highest fifteen-minute demand occurring during the preceding eleven months or the charge for 100 KW, whichever may be greater.

    (c)

    The city reserves the option of metering all large general service at either secondary or primary voltage, and if metered at primary voltage, the monthly meter readings shall be reduced by two percent and the energy charge shall be computed on such reduced readings.
