 Chapter 14.16. WATER RATES

§ 14.16.010. Schedule of rates.

  • The rates and charges for water supplied through the municipal waterworks system shall be as follows:

    (a)

    For the period of August 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017 (fiscal year 2017).

    (1)

    All customers will be charged a customer charge of thirteen dollars and fifty-five cents per month which includes the first one thousand gallons of water. This is also the minimum bill per month;

    (2)

    For all usage over one thousand one gallons per month the sum of four dollars and twenty-three cents per one thousand gallons;

    (b)

    For the period of July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018 (fiscal year 2018).

    (1)

    All customers will be charged a customer charge of fourteen dollars and forty-nine cents per month which includes the first one thousand gallons of water. This is also the minimum bill per month;

    (2)

    For all usage over one thousand one gallons per month the sum of four dollars and fifty-two cents per one thousand gallons;

    (c)

    For the period of July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019 (fiscal year 2019).

    (1)

    All customers will be charged a customer charge of fifteen dollars and fifty-one cents per month which includes the first one thousand gallons of water. This is also the minimum bill per month;

    (2)

    For all usage over one thousand one gallons per month the sum of four dollars and eighty-four cents per one thousand gallons;

    (d)

    For the period of July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020 (fiscal year 2020).

    (1)

    All customers will be charged a customer charge of sixteen dollars and fifty-nine cents per month which includes the first one thousand gallons of water. This is also the minimum bill per month;

    (2)

    For all usage over one thousand one gallons per month the sum of five dollars and eighteen cents per one thousand gallons;

    (e)

    For the period of July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021 (fiscal year 2021).

    (1)

    All customers will be charged a customer charge of seventeen dollars and seventy-six cents per month which includes the first one thousand gallons of water. This is also the minimum bill per month;

    (2)

    For all usage over one thousand one gallons per month the sum of five dollars and fifty-four cents per one thousand gallons;

    (f)

    For fiscal year 2022 and each following fiscal year after; the customer charge and the usage charge shall be increased by three percent unless other rates are ratified by the city council.
